Melted Memories

With Permission ... Sculpture entitled Melted Memories

In dedication to John McGrath and his beloved wife Jannie
Whom he lost to Cancer just days after her being diagnoised

John a poet in his own right waits now only for the day
He can again be with his precious Jannie

Please keep him in your prayers

Melted Memories

So true the love of poet's pen
That speaks of memories deep within
Brought to the page true love to see
The sweetness found in memory

One soul now lives beyond the sun
The other waits till work is done
Walking the streets of love each day
The vision sweet that lights his way

Held out to all that cares to read
The poet pens true love so beautifully
Bringing forth true love of years now past
From just beyond the looking glass

Jannie Speaks

John speak of our love and make it clear

I am forever.

.... Always near

True love lives not in melted memories
Within the heaven's is our true reality

Since I have left we've grown to see
That earth holds not our only dreams

Just beyond what we've begun
Still awaits the truest of our love

Within the form of this molten glass
Lies days that lived within our past
Pen fondly of our days now gone
Of gentle touch and joyful song

The White
What we have lived within our past

The Gold
What we will see at last

Ribbons of Gold beyond what you see . . .
Our love for all eternity

Jannie And John as they began their lives together
So many years ago

"Part of me lives within the past... Another portion hopes, life will not last... To live in her memory is grace... To die, is to see her face to face... So either way my die is cast... The future there, or in the past... "

A voice that whispers on the wind
The poet hears . . . picks up his pen

Written for what would have been
John and Jannie's 48th Wedding Anniversary
The first year after her passing
