Heart Of The Matter
There's A Feeling
There's a feeling of enchantment when I look you in the eye,
An almost ‘quite believing' that you kissed them all goodbye,
There's a feeling of forgiveness, love unconditional,
A banishment of anger dissipating icy chill,
There's a feeling that tomorrow will bring a brighter day,
That obstacles between us, will be spirited away,
There's a notion our relationship will reach maturity,
Acknowledgement on both our parts, belief in destiny,
There's a feeling that together we'll stand strong against the storm,
Forsaking all behind us, we come back where we belong,
There's a feeling that the heavens, will bless our union so,
For they blessed us with, the power of speech to let each other know.
