LEAVING A TRACE








**~**LEAVING A TRACE**~**






As I walk along the wet sand
Soaked from the sea rushing to land,
With each footprint I leave behind
Thoughts of you just pervade my mind.


My footprints are soon washed away
Leaving no trace of me this day,
I was here tho` of this I know
My footprints fade but I won`t go.



I`m leaving footprints in your heart
I put them there right from the start,
I hope they won`t be washed away
Hope they last `til your dying day.
