Grandpa retired
A new nanny was hired
The years have gone by
time has expired
from birth I was the Nanny
Put many a diaper on a fanny
The oldest is now fifteen
She is my little queen
But now she is starting driving
Going to dances and jiving
The boys eleven and nine
Still my boys and mine
But the nanny job is winding down
Do my Donald Duck thing they think me a clown
Never the time they don't want Grandpa around
In diapers I had them running up and down stairs
That is not something a female nanny shares
The boys now at the top of the sport games
Growing up they were athletically trained
My job you see will soon be done
Years have gone by and was it fun
Being a Nanny I was there to see them grow up
But some day the leash is removed no longer a pup
