Honoring Your MotherWhen I was very young, My mother's heart had sung; As it poured out her love, Like a flight of a dove. My father said to me, Her insight that can see; For the Lord helps her thought, On what you should be taught. She brought you to this world, Helped your plans be unfurled; Show honor and respect, Her words never reject. If you value wisdom, Then stop acting so dumb; And open up the door, To start acting mature. So please keep that in mind, And be gentle and kind; To her every day, While guiding your way.
