Honor the LORD
On a day like today,
I know I will obey;
And always praise the Lord,
With His Word not ignored.
For each day I shall start,
Praising with all my heart;
Singing praise onto God,
As I honor and laud.
I will hear and rejoice,
As I lift up my voice;
To celebrate His name,
Through Scriptures I proclaim.
If I ask for some aid,
No need to be afraid;
For I know that He hears,
And comforts all my fears.
God knows I won't neglect;
His angel will protect,
For the honor I give,
He wants to see me live.
