The Love of the FatherThe Love of the Father Think of how much the Father's love, That is sent from Heaven above; Calling us a daughter or son, And some day with Him be as one. Loving each of us insofar, As His children just as we are; Drawing closer as we know more, The reason what Christ had died for. But of some who do not know Christ, And just why He was sacrificed; They still have yet the need to learn, The reason why Christ will return. How can they be children of God, When not giving honor and laud; Having no hope after they die, Rotting in sin from whence they lie. We all do sin and break God's law, Since we all have that little flaw; The difference is who believe, Are sure in seeing their reprieve.
