 Love

Love

Living in a world of love, hate and war
I keep thinking; what are we waiting for?
I have to ask, how long must we suffer
The solution, we need to love each other

No matter where we live, it's time to begin
We must be blind to the color of our skin
We are all related in some sort of way
Let's learn from the past, let's do it today

Brother helping brother, how hard can that be?
Sister helping sister, why can't we stop to see?
That good produces good and bad produces bad
Lending of your shoulder when someone's feeling sad

Doing unto others as you'd want done to yourself
This is Jesus' teaching; be pleased to want to help
The world would be much better if we learned to love
No better example than the love of God above

Think before you do, think before you act
Ask yourself, is it worth fighting back?
Jesus saves the sinner that is you and me
He did it out of love to set our poor souls free

Love's the only answer, loves the only cure
If we loved each other this we can be sure
Instead of causing pain we'd learn to sacrifice
Showing our true love just like Jesus Christ
