To your surprise an angel came close by,
She knew the sadness within your heart
But from this life she could not let you depart.
Spreading your arms ready to hit the ground
The angel held you fast without a sound,
Your destination that day was not to die
Even tho` your mind had told you to try.
She spoke to you in a silence clear
It was meant for you alone to hear,
She told you all the reasons you should live
She said you had so much love to give.
Your heart will mend as time is on your side
The angel will be there to be your guide,
She felt your pain and she heard you cry
But she knew it wasn`t your day to die.
