"You and I"
If you have a dream, and I have a dream
And we hold on to that hope together
We can imagine our vision, so it would seem
With a faith that nothing . . . Could sever
If you have a goal, and I have a goal
We could help each other obtain it
Encouragement, would be our tool
As we strive together and gain it . . .
If you have a problem, and I have one too
We could help each other understand
Finding a solution, for me and for you
Solving it eventually . . . Hand in hand
United together, we can do all things
With respect, perseverance and love
Our dreams and goals, would take wings
As God sends blessings . . . From above
We'll never give up. . . keeping steadfast
Lets hang on and weather lives storms
Through endurance and lessons, we'll last
Situations, that come in many forms
Yet, it is character, we will acquire
As we stand strong for what we believe
With satisfaction to come, in that hour
That we accept, understand and concieve!
