Run towards the Goal
I have not reached my goal,
That God has for my soul;
For I am still a reject,
Since I am not perfect.
But Christ has taken hold,
As the plan does unfold;
Being there by my side,
And for being my guide.
I struggle as I run,
Since my life is not done;
To do as He wants me to,
Until all tasks are through.
For with being alive,
I know when I arrive;
Not to fret of the past,
But look to the forecast.
Just leave the past behind,
And you will ease your mind;
Look towards what is to come,
The future is not glum.
