Servant of Christ
I praise to Him who gave me life,
And even though I have had strife;
Christ Jesus took me to be true,
As His servant with each day through.
Though I have said some violent things,
Causing great trouble as it brings;
I was given mercy and grace,
Since a confession will erase.
It was an act without much thought,
Without faith when angers sought;
That makes emotions start to soar,
As raging lions starting to roar.
But our Lord is very great,
With the faith to alleviate;
All of the tension and the stress,
With a love that will surely bless.
Even though we sin and fall short,
We can all still make it to port;
If we have faith and do believe,
Eternal life we can receive.
