O Give Praise
O give praise unto the Lord,
Who is beloved and adored;
His goodness never sever,
And mercy stays forever.
Give praise to the God of gods,
Each one in Heaven applauds;
As the other gods prostrate,
For respect as they elate.
Give praise to the Lord of lords,
That humbly lay down their swords;
Showing mercy and respect,
To Him who will not neglect.
To Him who does great wonder,
Causes lightning and thunder;
And who has mighty wisdom,
In His Heavenly Kingdom.
To Him who gave us all birth,
And created the whole earth;
As He stretched waters throughout,
And vegetation about.
To Him who gave day and night,
With the sun shining so bright;
That causes the moon to shine,
And the stars of such divine.
