Of Things to Come
I think of things to come,
That the earth will succumb;
Knowing that not too far,
Everything shows a scar.
It will be very soon,
With the sun and the moon,
Of darkened skies instead,
The moon turning blood red.
Life not be as before,
As if God shuts the door;
Causing a stormy wrath,
With fateful aftermath.
Then in about three days,
The sun will start to blaze;
To show ruins and death,
Much without any breath.
This time God will pursue,
Not destroy but renew;
For those with a pure heart,
In having a new start.
