For a day


If I were PM for a day
I'd pass this law
Just one no more
He who declares war
Leads from the front
Not from behind

Contemplating service
Should so clear the mind
And the chance
Of being killed
May sharply hone
Peacemaking skills

And make him think
Just a little more
Before committing
Others to fight his war
