Been watching Olympics getting fired up
What event could I have trained for as a pup?
Gymnastics is out I was 6 ft 2 sixth grade
I'd a hung myself using second bar as a blade
I bowled pretty good had a 170 average a season
Doesn't count not an Olympic sport maybe a reason
Tried to run the hundred had a great finish
Someone said you are so slow turn out for tennis
Chased those tennis balls all over the court
So it ended up table tennis I had to resort
Now I played a mean game when the ball didn't go as far
In the Air force on our tables I was a star
One day the US champion came to give a demonstration
I beat that cat 21-18 and was filled with elation
His partner in the demonstration a spin artist from North Dakota
I got six points against him best of my quota
Ran the two mile usually came in at the end of the pack
I'll think about this more but tuckered out headin for the sack.
