What Things to Rejoice
Christ watched as Satan fell,
From Heaven into Hell;
And he fell like a star,
When hit it left a scar.
Christ gave might over snakes,
And the beasts Satan makes;
With the strength to resist,
Temptation to persist.
Never gloat of your might,
Causing pride in your sight;
Where your name is written,
Be easily smitten.
Be full of joy and praise,
Also humble always;
Lord of Heaven and earth,
Truly knows your full worth.
For the power is yours,
That will open up doors;
And assures you a place,
For His heavenly grace.
