Godliness of the Light
I charge you in the sight of God,
To love as you honor and laud;
Be witness to the faith through Christ,
The giver of life sacrificed.
Keep the Word untouched by evil,
Clear from shame defy the devil;
Till returning of our Lord,
With revelation of His Word.
At the time He will make it clear,
What Satan will dread and will fear;
Just who is the eternal king,
As the angels will praise and sing.
Only He has life forever,
That nothing on earth can sever;
For Christ is in the living light,
Which is blinding men of their sight.
Because no man has ever seen,
The awesome power that has been;
And only some of us will see,
The eternal life that shall be.
