Building the House
Always give thought to your ways,
This might be the final days;
And build a house for the Lord,
Showing that He is adored.
Go up the hills for some wood,
For building it as you should;
Then honor as a treasure,
As the Lord will take pleasure,
You are looking for so much,
But coming up short as such;
So keep it simple this way,
For a house in going to pray.
Allow your mind to be eased,
Since God will surely be pleased;
Showing what you can exert,
If you put out the effort.
Show people of other lands,
What you can do with your hands;
And you are willing to share,
Your place as a house for prayer.
