Salvation only of God
Faith is gone when your heart,
When the straying will start;
What was good, turns sour,
By cruel evil power.
So when the Lord saw it,
Has angered His Spirit;
Because of all of these flaws,
No one to take their cause.
He saw there was no man,
That could fit in His plan;
An arm of salvation,
Resisting temptation.
One filled with holiness,
Shielded by righteousness;
Wearing a robe of wrath,
To walk the righteous path.
There was no one on earth,
Of tasking that was worth;
And Heaven only one,
Was His begotten Son.
