It lies quietly as a shimmering haze
upon the deep blue-green waters
mocking the senses with it's ethereal
serenity and wondrous beauty.
The magnificence of it's glorious
sparkling image makes my heart beat
with the hottest of desires to explore
it's tranquil shores.
My mind tirelessly makes plans to conquer
every obstacle in my way so that I may have
this one last magnificent adventure before
the sands of time run out upon my life.
