Profession of Faith
This is what I have heard,
Knowing that it is true;
About the Holy Word,
God has given to you.
For it says God is light,
With no darkness at all;
Everything is right,
And having no flaw.
If being one in Him,
But we walk in the dark;
We lie and life is grim,
Wherever we embark.
If you say of no sin,
Then you truly deceive;
Jesus can cleanse within,
To confess and believe.
For when come Judgment Day,
Looking Christ in the eye;
He will know time you stray,
And each time that you lie.
