Exhort Towards Repentance
Wash and make yourself clean,
As Christ will make you sheen;
Of the glory to shine,
That comes from the divine.
Put away evil things,
And the pleasure it brings;
That is before your eyes,
With deceit and the lies.
Let there be end to sin,
Lusts that corrupts within;
And learn to be upright,
For the godly insight.
May the sins which are red,
Be cast out from your head;
And washed as white as snow,
To let the blessings to flow.
So give ear to the Word,
And obey what is heard;
Allow an open heart,
Giving you a new start.
