Somebody explain this to me
The stock market is in a downward spin
Loans were given with barely proof or fee
The CEO's stocked the money away with a grin
The people who took out the loans lost their homes
Those who made the loans are not being stoned
A trillion dollars of taxpayers money down the drain
They're throwing the middle class off the train
Now because of the crisis the oil CEO's raise the price of gas
Is it the Republican elephant or the Donkey ass?
I say the wrong people are selling their homes
Or do they think and we probably are a bunch of knomes
Either the CEO's or someone in high places should go to jail
And instead of being rich behind bars they should get their mail
