Don't get me wrong I am for the bailout
If we toss those who created the mess out
Lawmakers on both sides demand changes
These are some of the people in the rearranges
A blank check written to troubled firms is nuts
Throw all the CEO's out on their butts.
And what about that golden CEO parachute
Take all that graft and show them the boot
I think the whole bunch should pay us back or go to jail
Take away their million dollar mansions and hear them wail
That's what they would do to me if I had a business fail
My bet is the CEO's are buying gold as the stock market falls
The lawmakers would freeze their incomes if they had balls
But guess what who would write the ticket to get them elected
I think a whole new set of rules for the rich should be selected
All that in place and a few new more honest Senators I'd be elated
Maybe the taxes from those making the most should be legislated
Our is asking for equality just a little outdated
Saying this theft has gone on a little too long overstated
