Pleasing God for His Mercies
Let me get something off my chest,
I just want to make a request;
You offer your body to Christ,
And living to be sacrificed.
A living offering to God,
Pleasing as we honor and laud;
In worshiping as it is right,
With giving the Lord such delight.
Let behavior not be of earth,
If you have gone through a rebirth;
To change and having a new mind,
While leaving the past behind.
By experience maybe you know,
Just how to make the blessings flow;
As to what is pleasing and good,
To our Lord God as it should.
But I say to each one of you,
Through the grace that is in your view;
With having your thoughts that are wise,
Measured in faith for His eyes.
