 Dancing with the moon

With the ocean infront
And natures curtain behind
I sit upon the crystal shores
Pushing my heels into the softened sand
Still is the evening air
As dusk settles
Night brings the tide
And stars that glimmer
The moon settles upon the horizon
Casting a pale shimmering cream blanket
Upon the darkened sea
I see her come nearer
Skimming the waters
Outreached hands, beckoning
Taking my mortal grasp
Eyes closed, heart a pounding
She draws me close
My soul filled with purity
As we dance across the oceans
High into the night sky
Weaving in between the stars
Into unchartered mortal realms
Her lips taste like sweet
Cherry blossom and white Lillys
Aura of timelessness and magnificence
As the gentle sun rises
I am placed with the greatest of care
Upon the shores once more
Blessed,
To have danced with the moon.
