Salutation and Thanksgiving
Grace to you and peace from God,
To whom we honor and laud;
Through sacrificing His Son,
Guarantees victory won.
Triumph over sin and death,
Even after the last breath;
Since His grace has forgiven,
Clearing the path to Heaven.
So you have wealth in all things,
Which through Him that each day brings;
In Word and knowledge of sort,
As well as peace and comfort.
He will give strength to the end,
Your Lord but also a friend;
Through whom you are now a part,
Have been given a fresh start.
I owe much to Jesus Christ,
Since He had been sacrificed;
Had been put through such disgrace,
On that cross taking my place.
