Where have all the colors gone?
We lose the pinks and the purples
Life become just black and white
Laughter becomes worry and fright
The fun and the whimsy
The tints and the hues
Greens and blues
Where have all the colors gone?
The shades and shadows
Oranges and red
Fallen behind, stayin' bed
Frustration turns to blues
Anger becomes a silent cry
History will ask why?
Where have all the colors gone?
Words like recession and depression
Foreclosure and evictions, bankruptcy
Colors lose their relevancy
