I have achieved quite a bit over the years
and I suppose I'm proud of some of those
with but one great regret throughout my life
I could seldom if ever touch my toes

I did so once
out of pure fear
when the PTI
was standing near
oh how I remember
that special when
but to my knowledge
never again
so I walk upright
and always smile
but now and then
once in a while

it would be nice to flex and bend
and be numbered amongst those
favoured and agile folk who can
with ease bend and touch their toes
