I am not into depression you see
So lighten up a little levity
The world is all about making changes
Into your life some rearranges
I look in the mirror what do I see?
Surely that old fat man is not me!
I go down see kids playing a game
I remember in my youth doing the same
Kids throw this old man that ball
You want me at quarterback you made the call
The kids run for passes having fun
Their exuberance and laughter shared by this one
So at the end of the day this old shoulder aches?
Feel much better if from some hurt the changes it takes
You know these kids need a little adult supervision
And surgery, no exercise,---it is improving my minds vision
Sit around and mope, look in the mirror, that's your decision
