To Please God
I make this request to you,
Hoping you see my point of view
But by mercies of the Lord,
What I say not be ignored.
For what is pleasing to God,
Not just with honor and laud;
But give your body like Christ,
Living to be sacrificed.
For there is not any crime,
Giving of talent and time;
God likes seeing those good deeds,
That are spreading out His seeds.
Let not behavior of earth,
Show as it is truly worth;
Since it is you that they please,
Not serving God what He sees.
Through the grace God has given,
Your reward waits in Heaven;
When you are serving Him more,
Your return will also soar.
