Look Off to Jesus
Pioneers who blazed the way,
Are veterans cheering us on;
They see us every day,
Even though having been long gone.
It means that we better move,
Start running and never quit;
Do whatever to improve,
Or to Satan you will forfeit.
No extra spiritual fat,
Nor a parasitic sin;
Jesus is where it is at,
Who will purify within.
This is an endurance race,
With Jesus leading the pack;
And you must be in His grace,
So do not try to look back.
We must look off to Jesus,
Keep the eyes focused on Him;
Since sin is like a virus,
And makes the light to grow dim.
