Been on main street visited all the bars
On the way to Tootsies drunk a few beers

I'm going to write a country song take the plunge
But first I have to grow a beard long hair and shaggy
Complain about my women who is cheating and naggy
But then I went to New Orleans listened to that Jazz
I could play a trumpet put on some pzazz
But I got drunk and in the morning she was gone
