Who clefts a channel for the flowing rain,
Or able to cause a flood to remain;
Making way for the lightning and thunder,
Letting it stick around or asunder.
There is no man with the power to cause,
The rain to continue or making it pause;
And really of the little that we know,
What causes all the tender grass to grow.
As we hear so much about mother earth,
But is that who really does give them birth;
Does rain have a father or drops of dew,
Or is mother nature the one to spew.
Would it be Jack Frost cause the plants to sleep,
After farmers went in the field to reap;
Out of whose womb was the ice been given,
And the hoary frost spreading from Heaven.
There is only One can control nature,
Letting some plants to die others nurture;
For God is the Creator of all things,
Along with the nurturing that He brings.
