The Strength Within
I think that the life within me is crying, I calmly lower my head, while I am trying. The strength within, to rise from the pain, To continue at all cost, come dark clouds or rain. We as humans, we possess unbelievable power, As we pray on our knees in the midnight hour. It will take the strength within, to make it last, To replace the sorrow we have encountered in the past. The strength within will allow me to bear my joy's and sorrows, To live for my yesterday's............. and tomorrows. I know that our heart will heal, That's a heart strength of wills. If I could turn back the pages of time, It would be the strength within that would constantly remind, That our heart suffers loses and will shed flowing tears, When our heart is lonely, and heartache is near. The strength within will keep me strong, Through the sunny days and the worst of storms. My battle wounds I have carried with me, My strength within has allowed me to set them free. Our sufferings and pain will be transformed, From the strength within our soul will be reborn. I believe that the strength within will carry you far, And you will shine, and be a bright star. This journey called life is a beginning and an end, We wish for the best, but no one can comprehend.
