 Who's Loving You?????????
It started out on a warm summer's night,
The vibe was good, the chemistry felt right.
And the months ahead were total bliss,
Now I know in my heart, I have been dismissed.
You told me that you wanted me all to yourself,
Now I have found out that you have found someone else.
No one has ever done me like you do,
Now I wonder, who's loving you?
I could once write a poem, throw it into the sea,
The words would not reveal, what you meant to me.
I tell myself to be patient, let time be my guide,
I sat back and waited, and you took me for a ride.
I waited, and I already knew,
And asked myself, who's loving you.
I walked the floor, from one room to the next,
Who's loving you, is it possibly your ex?
I waited and sat by the phone,
It never rung, and again I am alone.
My heart is healing, and it need the rest,
As I let go of this emotional mess.
I remember the good times, and all the caring,
Now with someone else, these moments you are sharing.
I don't know where you went,
As I began to understand, I began to vent.
I know that in your life I do not fit,
So I ask God for all the strength I can get.
I guess I don't matter anymore,
As you walk out the door.
With common sense, I will maintain,
From your sexual advances, I will refrain.
I am no longer in a confused state of mind,
As I leave you, and your memory behind.
All I wanted was for us to spend time, and for you to call,
As time passed, I heard nothing from you at all.
Do you hear my words, and are my words to real?
Do you understand, this is how you made me feel?
I realize now, that I don't need a man like you,
And all the hell you put me through.
And I don't care "Who's Loving You".
