LIFE

LIFE

Eyes that are drawn to the canvas of our life
Like spools of thread we unwind for their gaze
They search for enigmas in this complex maze
Of remnants frayed, loose ends and veiled strife

Hand in hand in youth, we walk side by side
Life is a circle of swinging doors along the way
We open and explore, then move on in disarray
Still looking for an answer inside tomorrow's ride

Frequent wanderings, beneath a blue vault of night
Find us searching in time, wishing to be free
As too many eyes so piercingly wish to see
Our innermost chapters that we dare to write
