Merry Christmas

A grand merry Christmas party
it's over after long happy hours
left over eats, untouched turkey
and opened bottles doze off in gaze
glittering gifts on a corner table
yet unopened they exalt the scene
luminous tree stands above all
content guests are in utmost fun
beyond this heavenly merry world
at cold night in a gloomy manger
a mother gives birth to a child
another looks for a warm shelter
a poor little girl dreams a gift
one and only wish from Santa
her hut is forgotten to visit
but she keeps her humble door ajar
all their faiths on your  guidance
everybody sees the same shining star
why God you made a difference among us
please give us hopes together we can share
