Mt. Jabel Hafith
Proudly rising through a range Delighted queen Mt.Jabel Hafith She welcomes us all year round Smiling beneath her blue misty veil She bestows us a cinematic view Across her fertile kingdom Al-Ain She makes us a heaven on zenith All ages admire her majestic sight The jewel of the crown in Emirates Who doesn't love to get her embrace To engrave her panorama in hearts She assures millions curious eyes A gift of nature for a peaceful mind A lavish monument on God blessed land By Swarnapali Liyanage (Mountain Jabel Hafith Jabel Hafit , south of Al Ain, is part of the mountainous region that extends along the UAE-Oman border. HAFIT mountain is the highest point in the country , offering a panoramic view of the Empty Quarter. It is popular tourist rendezvous and the peak is reached along and excellent mountain road where a hotel is built. HAFIT mountain is also the site of archaeological finds dating back to the end of the fourth millennium B.C. Much of the deformation in the zone is due to Late Cretaceous compression related to thrusting of the ophiolite in Oman. The slopes around Jebel Hafith are full of caves which are explored by adventure groups. Settlements near it are famed for their honey and camel milk production. At the bottom of HAFIT mountain there are many hot springs, where you can enjoy a very hot bath. On the way to the top and at the top there are so many car parking, Places and areas where you can sit with your family and enjoy your time in special way!! )
