My Safe HabitationI am in the hands of the Lord, In His presence is my reward; The Most High is my resting place, While blanketed by His grace. No evil can come near to me, For a mighty fortress is He; No sickness will I ever fear, Since diseases cannot come near. He watches wherever I go, His angels follow to and fro; Ensuring my safety each day, As well as not to go astray. Because He has given His love, With mercy and grace from above; Shows how much He really does care, Offers a desire to share. Remaining safe in loving arms, Safe from danger and all alarms; Guiding through facilitation, As being my habitation. --Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2008 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
