New Year's Greetings

There's brandy by the bottle
Crates and crates of beer
And the stash is getting bigger
As more and more folk appear
There's a little wacky baccy
Fragrancing the warm dark air
But we're all friends together
So who really cares
They  say its doom and gloom
Financial catastrophe is here
But what the hell its party night
And tomorrow's the New Year
So raise your glasses and toast
We may have lost our wealth
But money's only money
And we've still got our health
And there a blonde over there#
I'm just longing to kiss
And with the midnight chimes
Too good a chance to miss
The toast is the future
So bless you one and all
Keep your peckers up
And your backs to the wall
