"THE YEAR 2008"

This year has been filled with life, love, death and hate.
Let's pray that two thousand and nine is better than
                        two thousand and eight.
The gas prices were high and now there low.
Food prices are high but the economy is slow.

Our new president say's things will get better as days goes by.
We'll do our best and hope he's not telling us another lie.

He says he's going to bring our boys home and stop the war.
Also stop giving to the rich and start helping the poor.

This year 2008 is a part of our past let's get rid of all our fear.
So let us all stand tall and have a great new year.
