Prayer for Salvation
My desire and my prayer,
To God that He may repair;
That I may get salvation,
And live in jubilation.
For I give witness to them,
That our Lord will condemn;
Having in life such a void,
From the things they self-enjoyed.
Not knowing of what is next,
How it will get more perplexed;
All because of their desire,
Cast in a lake of fire.
I have faults as many can,
Not nearly a righteous man;
But I have good behavior,
Knowing Christ as my Savior.
Christ is the end of the law,
Able to repair the flaw;
For those who truly believe,
Then salvation they receive.
You are off to a good start,
If your faith fills up your heart;
And call on the Lord to save,
Rescue from that final grave.
