Why Show Brotherly Love

Let us have love for each other,
Living as sister and brother;
Because love is coming from God,
As long as we honor and laud.

Everyone who does have love,
Has wisdom flowing from above;
For they have become His child,
Being humbled meek and mild.

If having no love does not know,
The one true God and cannot show;
Of a real tender loving care,
That the Lord desires to share.

But the love of God was made clear,
For those who have respect and fear;
When He had sent His only Son,
So that salvation would be won.

For Christ was sent for our sin,
Letting a rebirth to begin;
And for those who truly believe,
Eternal life they will receive.
