Live Like Jesus
If there is a comfort in Christ,
And any love been sacrificed;
Uniting hearts in the Spirit,
Then you will surely inherit.
If any mercy or pity,
Helping with the nitty-gritty;
In making joy for God complete,
Will never see any defeat.
Because when you are being kind,
You are then within the same mind;
In harmony of the same love,
As the Lord has from up above.
Doing nothing is envious pride,
Showing the corruption inside;
Because of the conceit within,
That is completely full of sin.
But Christ made Himself as nothing,
Even though higher than a king;
Not as God rather as a man,
So living like us was His plan.
Let the mind in you be like Christ,
Living and not to be enticed;
Not to be served but a servant,
And others be more relevant.
