Eternity beckons… each journey considered
reasoning… life has been full and complete
fortunate in glory beyond understanding
goals never reached so complete.
Fears once cherished now cast out forever
though haunting deep dreams race through
waking each sunrise to be bathed in such glory
always torn at what road to choose.
Sunrise and sunlight, a light be upon us
cast from and into darkness each day
to love and to cherish and worship forever
but war will always have the last say.
Eternity is calling… so tempting to be there
darkness such a good place to sleep
dreams never restful… soon sleeping forever
and eternity she beckons… to me.
