Showing Mercies

Let us be glad in hope,
Through this life as we cope;
Quiet hassles despair,
Given to God in prayer.

Be in peace with others,
Since all saints are brothers;
Not as brazen or bold,
But part of your household.

Helping another saint,
That is under constraint;
Showing them how to pray,
Whatever they dismay.

Bless someone who is cruel,
Since they are just a fool;
Show them that your belief,
Never brings any grief.

Do not hold any grudge,
Which can make you misjudge;
Although you disagree,
Anger is not the key.

God shows mercy and love,
Expects us too thereof;
Compassion is the way,
To show that we obey.
