Beyond Our Thoughts
I come speaking in tongues,
Of words stored in my lungs;
Giving revelation,
For a jubilation.
Because I have a voice,
That I have to rejoice;
Words that the prophets taught,
Of knowledge that we sought.
Even through lifeless things,
With joyous sound it brings;
Music from horn and flute,
Having a merry toot.
Words of songs with no sense,
That my tongue will dispense;
And for you might seem odd,
But really are from God.
They will declare time and place,
Whence Jesus shines His grace;
Summoning from the crowd,
The faithful to His cloud.
As the rest stay to learn,
Of the eternal burn;
In the lake of fire,
For sinful desire.
