Going to college
figuring out life
and what it's about
she jumps in my path
Or may I say sprang
I've always been a romantic
And here she came
It was unexpected
I was in a strange place
But when I kissed her
And took her by the waist
She looked in my eyes
And there was a vision there
I saw a demonstration
Of a life we would share
It was beautiful and full of hope
All pain cast aside and gone
There was difficulty at times
But it made our love grow stronger
For the only one we loved more
